Fast-food chain Byron Burgers is taking on the challenge of delivery services by launching a rethink of its brand identity.
Taxi Studio’s latest project is creating a rebrand to accommodate the digital needs of home delivery customers while still preserving the original premise of restaurants tailored to specific neighbourhoods.
Taxi Studio was tasked with creating the positioning, identity and tone of voice across all online, offline and physical mediums. These include the website, apps and delivery platforms such as Deliveroo. The overall goal was to make an innovative difference to their menu-booklets, packaging, signage and uniforms.
A team of designers came up with a concept focused on burger artistry to tap into Byron’s history as one of the oldest gourmet burger brands. They focus on “a radical shift” from what they call “typically gratuitous burger depictions of oozy excess, towards positioning food as art and creativity.
